The African Pluriversity of Knowledge Wiki is a collaborative space dedicated to epistemic plurality, the development of which it is launching here: rather than merely defining it, it takes it as the starting point from which the major questions of an age in which no single way of knowing can any longer claim to apply to all are explored. Here, knowledge is not presented as complete; it is under construction. The Wiki is a living commons, which everyone helps to grow. Each notion opens up a new area of inquiry: a space where a concept is developed collectively, open to anyone wishing to expand upon it, discuss it, illustrate it or build on it. Contributions take two forms: the reference article, which presents a concept, a figure or a school of thought based on identifiable sources; and the situated account, which recounts an experience, ongoing research or embodied knowledge, acknowledged as such. Neither takes precedence over the other; all are expressed from a particular perspective, and all languages are welcome. Contributing to the Pluriversity Wiki means taking part in the construction of a way of thinking focused on its practical application.
